(1) FCC REBANDING AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA, INC.
Authorization is requested to execute a Reconfiguration Proposal
Agreement with Motorola, Inc., the City's 800 Mhz Radio System manufacturer, in
order to implement all changes and reprogramming to the 800 Mhz Transmission
System, replace and/or reprogram all radios to comply with the FCC Rebanding
Order. Sprint Nextel, Inc., will pay for the cost of all work as required by
the Federal Communications Commission. An agenda report and resolution are

(2) Resolution excusing Councilor Charles E. McDaniel, Jr., from the January

(3) New Zoning Petition:
Petition submitted by D. L. Moore to rezone 2.01 acres of property located at
1330 Victory Drive from LMI (Light Manufacturing / Industrial) to GC (General

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit is scheduled at 10:30 AM (Eastern) on
January 23, 2008. Vendors shall convene at the Concession Stand of Lake Oliver
Marina, which is located at 5501 River Road, Columbus, GA. Vendors will be
allowed a 10-minute grace period. Any vendor who is not present within 10
minutes after the time slated for the beginning of the mandatory pre-bid
conference/site visit shall not be allowed to participate any further in the
bid process.

Scope of RFP
Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is soliciting competitive sealed
proposals from experienced, qualified firms to provide all necessary services
to take up, remove and dispose of (including salvage and sale) railroad track
materials located on and to restore land owned by the City of Columbus. This
land is located on the rail line and associated real property known as the
northern segment of the Norfolk Southern Railroad (N.S.).

Scope of RFP
Provide auditing services for Columbus Consolidated Government. The contract
period shall be for a period of five years beginning on May 1, 2008 and ending
April 30, 2013, subject to annual review and the annual availability of an
appropriation for audit services by Columbus Consolidated Government. The
contract term will include auditing services for the following fiscal years:
2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The work consists of demolition, removal and disposal of existing structures
and features; grading, drainage, paving, walks, waterfront improvements and
