AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY

DELETING FROM THE ?OFFICIAL STREET MAP, CITY OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA? THE STREET

SEGMENT AND RIGHT-OF-WAY OF SOUTH STADIUM DRIVE FROM THE WEST DEAD-END EAST A

DISTANCE OF 166.83 FEET; PROVIDING THAT ALL EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS OF

RECORD REMAIN IN EFFECT AND PROVIDING APPROPRIATE WIDTH AS REQUIRED BY THE

APPLICABLE UTILITY COMPANIES WILL BE RESERVED FOR UNKNOWN UTILITIES;

AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COLUMBUS

CHARTER; REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:



SECTION I.

That the ?Official Street Map, City of Columbus, Georgia? is hereby amended by

deleting

the following street segment and right-of-way.



?South Stadium Drive from the West Dead-End east a distance of 166.83 Feet.?



SECTION II.



That the street segment and right-of-way described herewith in Section

I is no longer needed for roadway purposes.



SECTION III.

That the street segment and right-of-way described herewith in

Section I is hereby declared surplus property for disposal in accordance with

the City Charter.



SECTION IV.

Providing that all existing utility easements of record remain in

effect and providing appropriate width as required by applicable utility

companies shall be reserved for unknown utilities.



SECTION V.



All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are

hereby repealed.



Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
