An ordinance amending the Columbus Code by deleting Sub-section 13-113
(a) in its entirety and substituting a new Sub-section defining weeds; and for
other purposes.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 13 of the Columbus Code is hereby amended by deleting Sub-section
13-113(a) in its entirety and by substituting a new Sub-section to read as
follows:
Sec. 13-113. Weeds defined; prohibition.
Weeds shall include common grasses and plants that tend to
overgrow or choke out more desirable plants.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance
are hereby repealed.

9th day of August, 2011, introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said
