An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 8121 Old Pope Lane and Easement from RE1 (Residential Estate 1)
Zoning District to SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the
same is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property from RE1
(Residential Estate 1) Zoning District to SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2)
Zoning District:
Part of Land Lot 6, 18th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at an iron pin on the westerly right-of-way line of Green Glen Drive
at the end of a 25.00 foot radius formed by the intersection of the southerly
right-of-way line of Sable Oaks Drive with the westerly right-of-way line of
Green Glen Drive and run thence along the westerly right-of-way line of Green
Glen Drive south 18 degrees 41 minutes 00 seconds east a distance of 184.93
feet to an iron pin; thence continue along the westerly right-of-way line of
Green Glen Drive along a curve to the right having a radius of 747.93 feet, an
arc distance of 191.24 feet to an iron pin; thence continue along the westerly
right-of-way line of Green Glen Drive south 04 degrees 02 minutes 00 seconds
east a distance of 168.59 feet to an iron pin; thence continue along the
westerly right-of-way line of Green Glen Drive south 40 degrees 43 minutes 06
seconds west a distance of 14.20 feet to an Iron pin; thence run south 85
degrees 57 minutes 00 seconds west a distance of 155.00 feet to an iron pin at
the Point of Beginning; from the Point of Beginning thence run south 85 degrees
58 minutes 40 seconds west a distance of 754.13 feet to an iron pin; thence run
north 04 degrees 01 minute 40 seconds west a distance of 404.50 feet to an iron
pin; thence run north 86 degrees 00 minutes 05 seconds east a distance of
754.27 feet to an iron pin; thence run south 04 degrees 00 minutes 25 seconds
east a distance of 404.18 feet to an iron pin at the Point of Beginning.
Containing 7.000 Acres.
The above-described property is rezoned subject to the following condition:
1. Developer shall ensure that the following lots have a minimum of 100-foot
public street frontage measured at the building line: Block D, Lots 45-53 and
Block F, Lots 1-9.

held on the 11th day of June, 2013; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the day of , 2013 and adopted at
