An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 4847 Miller Road (Parcel # 099-002-016) from SFR1 (Single Family
Residential 1) to LMI (Light Manufacturing and Industrial) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department is hereby
amended by changing the aforementioned property from SFR1 (Single Family
Residential 1) to LMI (Light Manufacturing and Industrial) Zoning District:
Parcel One:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in Land Lot 5, 8th,
Land District, Muscogee County Georgia, containing 1.50 acres, and being more
particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at a point marking the intersection of Cooper Creek with the
northerly right-of-way of Miller Road (100?) said point being the point of
reference; thence from said point of reference along the center line of Cooper
Creek N. 45? 44? 20? E a distance of 250.33 feet to a point; thence along the
creek N 03? 04? 52? W 165.72 feet to a point, said point being the point of
beginning; thence from said point of beginning N 03? 04? 25? W a distance of
100.27 feet to a point; thence leaving the creek N 89? 19? 07? W 644.69 feet to
a point; thence S 00? 08? 41? W a distance of 100.27 feet to a point; thence N
89? 19? 07? E a distance of 644.69 feet to a point, said point being the POINT
OF BEGINNING.

held on the 13th day of September, 2016; introduced a second time at a regular
