Ms Biegler,
Some history.
We have received one animal control complaint at 2753 Blan Street since 2009.
On 1/11/12 an anonymous complaint of cruelty was received. The Officer Mahone
reported 1:32 PM on that date "no violation observed and that the dog was
healthy".
Our office has received one call from Ms Thompson. On 12/17/12 we were
dispatched to her residence at 2252 Dorthy Avenue. We picked up one cat she had
trapped at 5:00PM.
We have had one complaint to the Special Enforcement Office at this address. On
2/12/12. Officer Kendrick observed some solid waste which was placed at the
curb that was not containerized. The solid waste was removed and the violation
cleared on 2/27/12.
Today.
Officer Kendrick observed solid waste and a junk vehicle. The vehicle is a
maroon Mercedes with a passenger front tire flat and an expired 2005 tag. He
has given a 15 day warning as required by law. The recheck date is 1/11/13.
Officer Rickles found the dog to be in good health. The shelter, a piece of
plywood , he found to be inadequate. Officer Rickles spoke to Mr. Walton's 40
year old daughter in person and Mr. Walton by telephone. He gave a 24 hour
warning to obtain shelter for the dog.
I have attempted to contact Ms Thompson. I have placed a message on her
answering machine and will continue to call her.

Ms Short,
This complaint came thru the Mayors Office from Ms Wanda Thomspon on animal
cruelty for no shelter, solid waste and junk vehicle. The cruelty complaint has
been taken care of for some time Officer Stewart reports the animal now has an
appropriate dog house. Officer Kendrick reports that the solid waste has been
removed and as of yesterday the vehicle is now in compliance.
This matter has been resolved.
