APPROVAL OF MINUTES: None.
NEW REZONING CASES:
ZC0705-4: A request to rezone 0.25 acres located at 4617 Armour Road. The
current zoning is RO (Residential /
Office) zoning district. The proposed zoning is NC (Neighborhood Commercial)
zoning district. The property will be used as retail / service. Rob McKenna
is the applicant.
ZC0706-3: A request to rezone 23.616 acres located on Macon Road, 818.l24 feet
from the intersection of Macon
Road and Transport Blvd. at the old stables. The current zoning is LMI (Light
Manufacturing Industrial) zoning district. The proposed zoning is RO
(Residential Office) zoning district. The property will be used for
multi-family residential. April Hocutt is the applicant.
3. ZC0706-4: A request to rezone the property at 716 29th Street. The current
zoning is RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2) zoning district. The proposed
zoning is GC (General Commercial) zoning district. The property will be used
as retail. Stephen Burdick is the applicant.
ZC0706-5: A request to rezone 1.937 acres located at 466 Andrews Road. The
current zoning is GC (General
Commercial) zoning district. The proposed zoning is LMI (Light Manufacturing
Industrial) zoning district. The property will be to manufacture metal.
Robert Lomax is the applicant.
5. ZC0706-6: A request to rezone 5.101 acres located at 8200 Fortson Road.
The current zoning is RE1 (Residential
Estate 1) zoning district. The proposed zoning is GC (General Commercial)
zoning district. The property will be used as a kennel. Charles and Kristi
Barry are the applicants.
SPECIAL EXCEPTION:
6. SEU0706-1: Andy Bussey has submitted a request for a Special Exception Use
for property located at 600 2nd Avenue for an Adult Day Care III. The property
is zoned HIST (Historic) district.
TEXT AMENDMENTS:
ZC0706-7: A request has been submitted for a Text Amendment to create ?Auto
Broker? as a
principal use in the UPT, GC, LMI and HMI zoning districts. Grady Rose
is the applicant.
ZC0706-8: A request has been submitted for a Text Amendment for Flood Damage
Prevention. Article IX,
Section II of the Constitution of the State of Georgia and Section 36-1-20(a)
of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated have delegated the responsibility to
local government units to adopt regulations designed to promote the public
health, safety, and general welfare of its citizenry. Engineering Department
is the applicant.
