and Sustainability Center at 8001 Pine Grove Way, 31907. New telephone and fax
numbers are 706-225-4008 (phone) and (706)569-1982 (fax), respectively.
B. 2015-16 FY CCG Budget ? Commissioners were encouraged to contact their
councilors to ask for their vote on adding KCBC staff members as CCG
employees. Proposal is on the table to make them staff employees. Councilor
Gary Allen requested a state-wide report that reflects the number of Executive
Directors and staff that are City or County employees. Gloria stated that Sara
Visser, KGBF Executive Director, provided the following information: 68% of
Georgia Executive Directors are City or County Employees, and 53% of the 68%
have additional staff. Gloria contacted Councilors Huff, Davis, Thomas, Allen
and Tom Buck. All of the councilors except Councilor Thomas and Councilor Allen
stated that they will support the proposal. Councilor Thomas stated that she
could not support the proposal because the Council agreed to not hire
additional staff. Councilor Thomas also asked Gloria to encourage Pat Beigler,
CCG Public Works Director to present the KCBC staff proposal in their budget.
We do not know when this will come up for vote prior to the June budget is
finalized. We should do our part to keep it on the minds of councilors in
order to get it on the agenda.

commissioners will meet to discuss whether KCBC will remain non-profit or what
