NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING

The Columbus Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia is amending its FFY-
2010 Annual Action Plan. The amendment is for the addition of $1,128,174 of
funding being received from the Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD) for the Neighborhood Stablilization Program (NSP3).
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was established by Section III of
Division B of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act (HERA) of 2008 as
amended. The Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 provides
$970 million in new NSP funds to assist states and localities in the
redevelopment of abandoned and foreclosed homes.
A Public Hearing will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011; 6:00 p.m., 420 10th
Street, Government Center Annex Building.
The Draft of the application requesting the funding can be found on the City?s
website at www.columbusga.org/communityreinvestment. The Draft may also be
reviewed at he following locations:

A Public Comment Period begins on February 11, 2011 and ends February 25, 2011.
