WHEREAS, Columbus Georgia and CBS Outdoor, Inc. have agreed to amend an
Agreement Between Columbus, Georgia and CBS Outdoor, Inc. executed on January
8, 2013;
WHEREAS, this Council deems the attached amended Agreement Between Columbus,
Georgia and CBS Outdoor, Inc. to be in furtherance of beautification projects
constructed and under construction in Columbus, Georgia.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby authorize the Mayor to execute the attached Amended Agreement
Between Columbus, Georgia and CBS Outdoor, Inc.

AMENDED AGREEMENT BETWEEN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA AND CBS OUTDOOR, INC.
In furtherance of beautification projects constructed and under construction in
Columbus, Georgia, Columbus, Georgia and CBS Outdoor Inc. hereby agree as
follows:
1) CBS Outdoor will give the City of Columbus a waiver (by January 15, 2013) to
plant trees down Veterans Parkway from 13th Street to Victory Drive pursuant to
the Transportation Enhancement streetscape effort, excluding planting a tree on
the corner of Veterans Parkway and Victory Drive that would affect the
visibility of a CBS billboard #02-0722 that reads to Victory Drive;
2) CBS Outdoor will remove billboard structures #02-0812 and# 04-4054 (both
located at Veterans Parkway and 8th Street) by June 30, 2013;
3) The City will allow CBS Outdoor to obtain permits and permission to convert
billboard structure #02-0680 (13th Street and 6th Avenue)(this will require
approval of a variance by City Council), or billboard structure #11000
(13th Street at Veterans Parkway), into a digital billboard upon the removal
of the two billboard structures listed in item no. 2 above.
4) CBS will be allowed to convert billboard structure # 02-0807 (on Airport
Thruway) to a digital billboard. (This will require approval of a variance by
City Council);
5) In exchange for allowing the digital conversion of billboard structure #
02-0807 on Airport Thruway, CBS Outdoor will remove billboard structures:
#2?0723 (Veterans at 4th Street-Victory Drive), #2-0846 (Veterans at 5th
Street), #4-4108 (Veterans and 6th Street) by June 30, 2015.
Nothing in this agreement may be used as evidence, or affect or release in any
way the rights of the parties in litigation between Columbus, Georgia and CBS
Outdoors, Inc., specifically including the Muscogee County Superior Court Case
No. SU-07-CV-835 and Georgia Supreme Court Case Nos. S13X0081, S13A0079, and
S1X0080.
This Amended Agreement shall supersede and replace the AGREEMENT BETWEEN
COLUMBUS, GEORGIA AND CBS OUTDOOR, INC. executed January 8, 2013, in all
respects.
