Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved
accept a $28,500 grant from the James Madison University/Virginia Clean Cities
Coalition for the Department of Energy Propane Corridor Development Grant
Program via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 for labor for
the vehicle propane conversion of 20 Muscogee County Sheriff's Office
vehicles. An agenda report and resolution are attached.

1. High Density Mobile Filing/Storage System ? RFP No. 10-0025
A Mandatory Site Visit/Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled at 9:30 AM
(Eastern) on Friday, June 11, 2010 in the District Attorney?s Conference Room
on the 3rd Floor, Government Center Tower, 100 10th Street, Columbus, Georgia.
Vendors will be required to sign-in at the Site Visit to show proof of their
visit. There will be a 10-minute grace period. Any vendor who is not present in
the conference room within 10 minutes after the time slated for the beginning
of the mandatory site visit/pre-proposal conference shall not be allowed to
participate any further in the proposal process.

1. Scale System Data Collection Software ? RFP No. 10-0021
A Mandatory Site Visit/ Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for Wednesday,
June 16, 2010.
The Site Visit will take place beginning at 9:00 AM (Eastern) at Pine Grove MSW
Landfill Scale House, which is located at 7160 Sacerdote Lane, Columbus, GA.
Vendors will be required to sign-in at the Site Visit to show proof of their
visit. There will be a 10-minute grace period. The actual Site Visit will begin
at 9:10 AM and Landfill Staff will be available to show vendors around the
Landfill. Vendors shall review the site and prepare questions for the
Pre-Proposal Conference.
The Pre-Proposal Conference will take place at 1:00 PM (Eastern) at Public
Services, 602 11th Avenue, Bldg E, Columbus, Georgia. The conference will
convene in the Public Services conference room. Vendors will be allowed a
10-minute grace period. Any vendor who is not present in the conference room
within 10 minutes after the time slated for the beginning of the mandatory
pre-proposal conference shall not be allowed to participate any further in the
proposal process.

The Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is seeking proposals for a
vendor to provide software for the scale system at two (2) inert landfills and
one (1) Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) landfill in Columbus, Muscogee County,
Georgia. The software will track every aspect of landfill transactions.

Scope of Bid
The District Attorney?s Office desires to purchase a high-density mobile filing
system for the storage of criminal files and a secure lockable storage system
for confidential materials.
