A RESOLUTION COMMENDING ASSISTANT HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR REATHER
HOLLOWELL FOR EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE TO THE COLUMBUS CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT.
WHEREAS, Reather Hollowell has faithfully served the Columbus
Consolidated Government since June 30, 1986, currently serving as both the
Assistant Director of Human Resources and the Affirmative Action Administrator;
and,
WHEREAS, Reather Hollowell is responsible for coordinating many employee
relations and community activities including Public Services Recognition Week,
Memorial Tribute Honoring deceased Active and Retired Employees, Employee
Wellness Program, Georgia Cities Week, Employee?s Recognition, Holiday Social,
Profile of Women in Government and Politics Program (Women?s History Month),
and the current Haiti Relief Campaign,
WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Mrs. Hollowell are worthy of special
recognition by this Council, and it is unsung heroes like her that do the work
that keeps our city working well.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
We hereby commend and congratulate Reather Hollowell for a job well done
during Women?s History Month. Columbus is proud of her many accomplishments and
we wish for her much success in the future. Let a copy of this resolution be
forwarded to Reather Hollowell.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held
on the 30th day of March 2010, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative
