I. SALE OF PROPERTY - REDD AVENUE:



Authorization is requested to execute a Quit Claim Deed for the

conveyance of 1,551.0 +/- square feet of right-of-way known as Redd Avenue

(formerly Reed) for $5,000 to the adjacent property owner (Section of 23rd

Street between Hamilton Road and North Avenue). An agenda report, resolution

II. NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES (NLC) DISCOUNT PRESCRIPTION DRUG CARD PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to participate in the National League of

Cities (CVS/Caremark) Discount Prescription Drug Card Program. An agenda

III. PINNACLE HOMES - AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING:



Authorization is requested to execute an amendment to the Memorandum of

Understanding with Pinnacle Homes to construct additional pedestrian and

traffic safety features as part of a required traffic calming on Antietam Drive

and amend Resolution #14-07, dated January 9, 2007. An agenda report and

IV. BLOCK GRANT - DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (EECBG):



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept a

$1,844,800 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) from the

from the U. S. Department of Energy through The American Recovery and

Reinvestment Act of 2009 to fund projects that reduce energy use and fossil

V. FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) - GRANT:



Authorization is requested to execute a grant agreement with the

Federal Aviation Administration for $2,641,129 as cosponsor with the Columbus

Airport Commission for rehabilitating the Runway 6/24 at the Columbus

Metropolitan Airport. An agenda report, resolution and grant agreement are

VI. 2009 VICTIMS OF CRIME ACT (VOCA) - GEORGIA CRIMINAL JUSTICE COUNCIL - GRANT:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved

accept a grant for $72,819.00 from the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating

Council along with $18,205.00 from the Five Percent Crime Victim Surcharge Fund

allocated in the FY09 Budget to provide funding for Crime Victim Assistance in

the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.

1. Commercial Zero-Turn-Radius Mowers ? RFB No. 10-0007

Scope of RFB

Provide four (4) Commercial Zero-Turn-Radius Mowers. The Right-of-Way

Maintenance and Cemetery divisions of the Public Services Department will use

the mowers.



2. Herbicide Spray Truck ? RFB No. 10-0008

Scope of RFB

Provide one (1) Herbicide Spray Truck to the Right-of-Way Maintenance Division

of the Public Services Department.



3. Canopy & Awning ? PQ No. 10-0001

Scope of RFB

Provide and install a 24x24x34 (approximate) metal awning at the Animal Control

Center located at 4910 Milgen Road, a 46x24 (approximate) steel or aluminum

canopy at the Recycling Center located at 25 22nd Avenue and an 80x20x10

(approximate) freestanding metal or aluminum covering for the drop-off site at

the Recycling Center.

1. Maintenance Services for Security Surveillance Equipment for Department of

Transportation/METRA (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 10-0003

A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit will be held on Thursday,

September 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., for the purpose of discussing this RFP, at

the Department of Transportation/METRA, 814 Linwood Blvd, Columbus, Georgia.



September 16, 2009

1. Renovations to 911 Center ? RFB No. 10-0006

Scope of RFB

Provide modifications to the City?s 911 Center to include the relocation of a

partition wall. The new wall will consist of metal studs and sheet rock. In

addition, electrical work, such as relocation of ceiling light fixtures and

fire alarm/strobe lights, shall be included. Also, the contractor will be

required to extend or adjust the existing sprinkler heads. Finish work shall

include painting and installation of rubber base molding.

1. Maintenance Services for Security Surveillance Equipment for Department of

Transportation/METRA (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 10-0003

Scope of RFP

It is the intent of Columbus Consolidated Government (City) to enter into a

contractual agreement with a qualified contractor offering maintenance services

for Security Surveillance Services for Department of Transportation/METRA.

Contract term shall be for two years with the option to renew for three (3)

additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal will be contingent upon the

mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.



2. After Hours Event Parking at the River Center Parking Garage (Annual

Contract) ? RFP No. 10-0002

Scope of RFP

Provide proposal for after hours event parking at the River Center Parking

Garage on an ?as needed basis? for Department of Transportation/METRA. This

contract shall be for two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3)

additional twelve-month periods.

Scope of PQ

Provide seven (7) Panasonic Toughbook 19 Touchscreen PC Version (CF-19KJRAGAM)

Laptop computers to be utilized in emergency response vehicles of Columbus
