I. ACCESS EASEMENT AGREEMENT - K&L INVESTMENT PROPERTIES, LLC, A GEORGIA

LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (TENANT-CHURCH'S FRIED CHICKEN, 18TH STREET @ 5TH

AVENUE):



Authorization is requested to execute an Access Easement Agreement with K&L

Investment Properties, LLC, for the two driveways that enter into their

property located at the Church's Fried Chicken at 18th Street/5th Avenue (405

18th Street) due to the 5th Avenue Re-Alignment Project in 1999. An agenda

II. AGREEMENT WITH NORFOLK SOUTHERN RAILWAY

COMPANY:



Authorization is requested to execute an agreement with Norfolk Southern

Railway Company for fees not to exceed $10,000 for preliminary engineering cost

necessary to accommodate the widening and improvements to the grade crossing at

Veterans Parkway and Double Churches Road adjacent to the railway at track

milepost M-70. An agenda report, agreement and resolution are attached.

III. STREET ACCEPTANCE - PORTION OF WESTWIND DRIVE, PORTION OF WINDWARD DRIVE

IN SECTION FIVE CROSSWINDS:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to portion of Westwind

Drive and portion of Windward Drive located in Section Five Crosswinds

Subdivision. The Department of Engineering has inspected said streets and

recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, agreement and resolution are

IV. 2010 VICTIMS OF CRIME ACT (VOCA) - GEORGIA CRIMINAL JUSTICE COUNCIL - GRANT:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,

accept a grant for $84,838 from the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating

Council along with $16,968 from the Five Percent Crime Victim Surcharge Fund

allocated in the FY11 Budget to provide funding for Crime Victim Assistance in

the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit from October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011.

and equipment received as part of a 2008 Hazardous Materials Response Grant.

VII. 2010 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to accept a grant of $23,000, or as otherwise

awarded, from the 2010 Homeland Security Grant Program for the maintenance of

vehicles and equipment received as part of the West Central Georgia Search and

Rescue (GSAR) Team. An agenda report and resolution are attached. (Approved)





VIII. CITY SERVICE CENTER - UPDATE:

1. 14th Street Pedestrian Bridge ? RFB No. 11-0002

Scope of Bid

Provide renovations of an existing bridge structure spanning the Chattahoochee

River at 14th Street into a pedestrian (only) bridge. The work will include

structural repairs, remediation and modifications of the existing concrete and

earthen bridge and its foundation.

Riverdale Cemetery Sexton?s Office Rehabilitation ? RFB No. 11-0016

Scope of Bid

Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, rehabilitation to

exterior of house including scraping, cleaning and repainting all woodwork,

concrete walls, wood siding and trim repairs where needed, rehabilitation of

all doors and windows, cleaning and repainting of exposed brick work. The work

also includes electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, insulation, walls

and ceilings, interior trim, wood flooring, and exterior wood decking, ramp and

columns.



Arena Carpeting ? RFB No. 11-0014

Scope of Bid

Provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to install, in

place, all synthetic turf material in the Columbus Ice Rink. The carpeting

shall cover a pro regulation ice rink covered by an ice deck that is

approximately 200? L x 85? W with arc radius of 28? in the four corners.



Firefighting Accessories (Annual Contract) ? RFB 11-0006

Scope of Bid

Provide firefighting boots, helmets and gloves to the Columbus Fire & E.M.S.

Department on an ?as needed? basis. The contract period will be for two (2)

years with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods.
