I. INSTALLATION OF BOLLARDS ON CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY:



Approval is requested to approve the encroachment for the installation

of thirteen (13) bollards, no closer than five (5') feet behind the street

curb, on the public right-of-way at 1104 2nd Avenue. This will enhance the

security for their congregation while assembled in front of the sanctuary and

protects them from the accidental/deliberate approach of cars. There are no

costs to the City beyond administrative cost for permitting and inspections.





II. SOLAR ENERGY PROJECTS:



Approval is requested to quit claim approximately 21 acres of vacant city-owned

property located at 7149 Manor Road to the Development Authority to be leased to

SolAmerica Energy for a solar panel farm.





III. STREET ACCEPTANCE - THAT PORTION OF DOUBLE PINES LOCATED IN SECTION

THIRTEEN, GARRETT PINES:



Approval is requested for the acceptance of that portion of Double Pine Court

located in Section Thirteen, Garrett Pines. The street has been improved and

meets the required specifications for acceptance by the City. No City Funds are

involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year warranty.

November 29, 2017

1. Muscogee County Jail Kitchen Floor Refurbishment ? RFB No. 18-0021

Scope of Bid

This project includes removal and reinstallation of all kitchen equipment as

necessary to demolish existing floor and install new flooring system;

connection of temporary kitchen trailers to utilities; construction of decking

around temporary kitchens; and removal of existing jail floor and installation

of new flooring system. Alternate #1 consists of Modifications to Recorder?s

Court and Alternate #2 consists of Expansion of the Public Defender?s Office.



2. Fall Protection System for Columbus Civic Center ? RFP No. 18-0011

Scope of RFP

The project will consist of designing, furnishing, and installing an Engineered

Horizontal Lifeline System at the Columbus Civic Center. No later than five

(5) business days before the proposal due date, vendors desiring to do so may

schedule a site visit to view and measure the work area. To schedule the site

bgiffin@columbusga.org. Vendors are responsible for all necessary measurements

to complete the project.



3 Lawn Maintenance Equipment & Supplies (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 18-0019

Scope of Bid

Provide edgers, line trimmers, various types of mowers, back pack blowers,

chain saws and supplies on an ?as needed? basis to Columbus Consolidated

Government (the City) to be utilized by various City Departments. The contract

term will be for two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3)

additional twelve-month periods.



4 Masonry Products (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 18-0020

Scope of Bid

Provide masonry products to include: portland cement (Type 1), sakrete cement,

concrete ready mix w/gravel, brick sand, concrete sand, brick, 3 hole (Grade

SW), brick, 8? (Grade SW), concrete building brick (Grade A), concrete blocks

(Type 1, Grade N), mound mix (Top Dressing) and fire brick, 8? on an ?as

needed? basis to the Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) to be utilized

by Public Works Department and Park Services. The contract term will be for

two years with the option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods.



5. Roofing Services at North Precinct ? RFB No. 18-0023

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit is scheduled at 11:00 AM (Eastern) on

Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Vendors shall convene at the North Precinct,

which is located at 8395 Beaver Run Road, Midland, Georgia 31820. Vendors will

be allowed a 10-minute grace period. Any vendor who is not present at the

North Precinct, within 10 minutes after the time slated for the beginning of

the mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit, shall not be allowed to

participate any further in the bid process.



December 1, 2017

1. On-call Services for Installation or Replacement of Storm Sewer / Combined

Sewer Systems Located throughout Columbus, Georgia (Annual Contract) ? RFP No.

18-0013

Scope of RFP

Install or replace elements of storm sewer / combined sewer systems located

throughout Columbus-Muscogee County, on an as-needed basis. The term of the

contract shall be for two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3)

additional twelve-month periods.



December 6, 2017

1. Pressure Washing Services (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 18-0022

Scope of RFP

Provide pressure washing services for the Ultraply 78+ membrane roof of the

Columbus Civic Center. The term of the contract shall be for two (2) years,

with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods.



December 8, 2017

1. Debt Collection Services (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 18-0007

Scope of RFP

Provide debt collection services on an as-needed basis. The services shall

maximize collections of delinquent accounts, which includes but are not limited

to landfill collections, parking, false alarms, ambulance, demolition liens,

etc. The contract term shall be for two (2) years with option to renew for

three (3) additional twelve-month periods.



December 13, 2017

1. Roofing Services at North Precinct ? RFB No. 18-0023

Scope of Bid

Provide all labor, equipment and materials to remove the existing roof system

to the wooden & decks, and replace with specified TPO roof system. Requests

for substitution will be accepted until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 6,

2017. Contractors shall email substitution requests, as outlined on page 11,

Section II, Item B of the specifications.
