SUBJECT: Street Acceptance - Graham Way located in Anglin Park
INITIATED BY: Department of Engineering
Recommendation: Approval is requested for the acceptance of Graham Way located
in Anglin Park.
Background: Graham Way located in Anglin Park has (12) twelve residential lots.
The street has been improved and meets the required specifications for
acceptance by the City.
Analysis: A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Graham Way located in
Anglin Park. A description of property is as follows: All that tract and
parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia,
and comprising of all of Graham Way in that certain subdivision known as Anglin
Park, as said street is shown upon a map or plat of said subdivision recorded
in Plat Book 165, folio 48 in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of
Muscogee County, Georgia, as shown upon a plat entitled Final Plat Anglin Park,
Part of Land Lot 28, 8th District, by Hobbs Smith & Assoc., Inc.
Financial Considerations: No City funds are involved until maintenance is
assumed after the two-year warranty.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement: No City funds are involved until
maintenance is assumed after the two-year warranty.
Legal Considerations: In Accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all
dedicated right-of-way must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions: Approval is requested to accept a deed to Graham Way
located in Anglin Park.
A RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO GRAHAM WAY LOCATED IN
ANGLIN PARK ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying Graham Way
located in Anglin Park, a full description of property on said deed; and,
WHEREAS, said street has been improved and meets the required specifications
for acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said street and recommends
acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated August 15, 2016, conveying Columbus, Georgia, Graham
Way located in Anglin Park be and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of
Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded in the Deed Records in
the Office of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. A copy of the
deed is hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this resolution.
