SUB: Uptown Facade Board
The terms of office of Mr. Scott Allen, Mr. Fred Greene, Mr. John Lester,
Ms. Cherie Sanders, and Mr. David Serrato on the Uptown Fa?ade Board will
expire on October 31, 2009.
All of the five incumbents are eligible to succeed themselves for this one
last term of office, with the exception of Mr. Greene, who is eligible to serve
another term of office after this term.
There are nine (9) members serving on this board. One member shall be a
representative of the Historic Columbus Foundation, (2) two members shall be
representatives of Uptown Columbus and six (6) members shall be representatives
of Uptown Business Association.
We have enclosed is a copy of the data sheet and a listing of the
current board
members.

COMPOSITION OF BOARD: Nine members, one of which shall be a ?representative

Inspection and Code Enforcement Division, and the Columbus Housing Authority

TERMS OF OFFICE: Initially, one member shall serve five years from date of
appointment; the term of two members shall be for three years; the term of two
members shall be two years; and the term for two members shall be one year.
After initial terms expire, successors shall be appointed for three-year terms.

Charge/Mission: The purpose of this board is to provide and protect continuity
in design and preserve the architectual integrity of the properties within the
C-1 zoning districts as indicated by the Zoning Atlas of Columbus. It has nine
(9) appointed members. One member shall be a representative of the Historic
Columbus Foundation, two members shall be representatives of Uptown Columbus,
Inc., and six (6) members shall be representatives of the Uptown business
Association. Representatives of the Planning Division, Inspection and Code
