WHEREAS, Ms. Johnnie Mae Walker, Building Service Worker with the Columbus
Police Department retired on July 1, 2009;
WHEREAS, Ms. Walker has been with the Columbus Police Department since April 9,
1980.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MS. JOHNNIE MAE WALKER
who has served with the Columbus Police Department for 29 years. We wish her
happiness and contentment in her retirement.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Mr. Henry C. Graham, former employee with the Columbus Water Works,
died on May 21, 2009;
WHEREAS, Mr. Graham retired on May 31, 1985 after serving over 19 years with
the Columbus Water Works.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Graham our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mr. Graham was an outstanding employee with the Columbus
Water Works and he will be missed by all who knew him.
