RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO PERMIT A PLACE OF WORSHIP
WITH 250 OR MORE SEATS LOCATED AT 10211 COUNTY LINE ROAD.
WHEREAS, Pastor J.W. Norman has appropriately applied for a Special Exception
Use to permit a Place of Worship with 250 or more seats, on the property
described above; and,
WHEREAS, a Place of Worship with 250 or more seats, is permitted solely as a
Special Exception Use under the current RE1 (Residential Estate 1) zoning
district; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has reviewed the request and recommends
conditional approval; and,
WHEREAS, the property described above shall be subject to the following
conditions: 1) there shall be a buffer of a minimum 15 foot in width provided
along the property lines bordered by residential zoned property, 2) There shall
be no day care services allowed on site.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria of Section 10.2.7.B have been met and that a
Special Exception Use for a Place of Worship with 250 or more seats, be granted
for the property located at 10211 County Line Road.

24th day of May, 2011, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
members of said Council.
