AN ORDINANCE

An Ordinance providing a moratorium of one hundred and twenty (120) days on
filing applications for billboard and multi-message signs.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
There is hereby enacted a 120-day moratorium on filing any new application for
a permit to construct a billboard or multi-message sign.
SECTION 2.
The purpose of this moratorium is to allow an amendment to the Uniform
Development Ordinance so that the current regulation concerning billboard or
multi-message signs will be continued.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance
are hereby repealed.

day of November, 2009; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said
