An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 1150, 1126, 942, 934, 926, 904, 850, 800, 640, 865, 705, 685 Morris
Road from LMI (Light Manufacturing Industrial) zoning district to SFR4 (Single
Family Residential 4)/ NC (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is
hereby amended by changing the following described property from LMI (Light
Manufacturing Industrial) zoning district to SFR4 (Single Family Residential
4)/ NC (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district:
All that tract or Parcel of land lying in Land Lots 98, 110, 111, 112, 117and
116 Coweta Reserve, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin at the intersection of the Southeasterly right-of-way
line of Morris Road with the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Interstate
Highway 185; thence run along the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Interstate
Highway 185, South 39 degrees 58 minutes 43 seconds East a distance of 267.09
feet to a concrete monument; thence continue along the Southwesterly
right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 185, South 41 degrees 42 min?utes 24
seconds East a distance of 293.92 feet to a concrete monument; thence continue
along the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 185, South 28
degrees 46 min?utes 39 seconds East a distance of 161.23 feet to a point in the
centerline of Bull Creek; thence run Westerly and Southerly along the center
line of Bull Creek a distance of 1789 feet more or less to a point; thence run
North 54 degrees 44 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 678.39 feet to an
iron pin on the Southeasterly right-of-way line of Morris Road; thence run
along the Southeasterly right-of-way line of Morris Road, North 35 degrees 17
minutes 16 seconds East a distance of 87.97 feet to an iron pin; thence
continue along the Southeasterly right-of-way line of Morris Road along a curve
to the right having a radius of 2892.70 feet, an arc distance of749.81 feet to
an iron pin; thence continue along the South?easterly right-of-way line of
Morris Road, North 50 degrees 08 minutes 22 seconds East a distance of 792. 17
feet to an iron pin at the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 16.874 acres more or
less and being recorded in plat book 162, page 144 in the office of the Clerk
of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
8th day of June, 2010; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said
