REFERRALS FROM MAYOR & COUNCIL
COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 8, 2015
TO THE CITY MANAGER:
WATER DRAINAGE NOTICES:
After a concerned citizen reached out to a Councilor concerning the notice that
was sent out by the City in reference to the cost burden being shifted to
business owners for making sure that the water drainage is in compliance. A
request was made for similar items such as this to be explained in detail in a
presentation, whether during a Work Session or Regular Meeting. (Request of
Councilor Allen)

In addition to the referral made by Councilor Allen, Councilor Davis also made
a referral, requesting that the City be more proactive in getting information
such as this to homeowners, associations and business owners. (Request of
Councilor Davis)

BLACKMON ROAD:
A referral was made for staff to look into the possibility of widening Blackmon
Road to accommodate the increase in traffic with the new development in that
particular area. (Request of Councilor Allen)

SIDEWALK REPAIR:
A request was made for staff to take a look at the cement on the sidewalk near
Valley Healthcare. (Request of Councilor Huff)
