1. Explanation of Revisions: Amend Table 3.1.1 by adding Ambulance Service as

a special exception use in the NC zoning districts.

Ambulance Service SE P P P *





Chapter 3 of the Unified Development Ordinance is hereby amended by creating

Section 3.2.2.1 to read as follows:

Section 3.2.2.1 Ambulance Services



An Ambulance Service shall comply with the following standards listed below.



An ambulance service may be located in an NC (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning

district by Special Exception Use as provided in Chapter 10, Article 2, Section

10.2.7.B.



An ambulance service shall be limited to two (2) operating ambulances on site

at any time in an NC (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district.



PLANNING ADVISORY COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION



The Planning Advisory Commission (PAC) considered this text amendment at their

meeting on March 16, 2011. The PAC recommended approval as submitted.



PLANNING DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION



The Planning Department recommends approval as amended. The recommended

amendments are to be added to the Additional Standards section of the Unified

Development Ordinance.
