An ordinance amending Chapter 21 of the Columbus Code by providing that
taxicab drivers shall not charge any passenger an additional fee for guide or
service dogs permitted by O.C.G.A. Section 30-4-2; and for other purposes.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Section 21-7 is hereby amended by adding a new subsection (18) to read
as follows:
?(18) Taxicab drivers shall not require any passenger to pay an extra
charge for accompaniment by a guide or service dog permitted under O.C.G.A.
Section 30-4-2.?
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance
are hereby repealed.
