A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, at the October 22, 2016 meeting, Council voted on a oral motion to
remove all parking fees at the RiverCenter garage in Uptown; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to set an effective date for the implementation of the
removal of parking fees;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
1) Upon the effective date of this resolution, there will be no daily parking
charges in the RiverCenter parking garage; and
2) Special Event parking fees in the RiverCenter parking garage will not be
charged after December 31, 2016.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
day of 25th October, 2016, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
