Superintendent Report by Steve Brown
The mower height on the greens mower has been lowered due to growth. The
greens are also sprayed with fertilizer weekly. Insecticide has been applied
to control Mole Crickets. Fertilizer has increased (tied to natural gas
prices) this year. Last year the cost of fertilizer was $4,960, this year for
the same amount of fertilizer will cost $8,960.
The new greens mower (Jacobsen) will be delivered to Bull Creek tomorrow. The
reel grinder and bedknife were installed at a cost of $5,000. This machine
will pay for itself within the first year.
Steve requests the annual visit from the USGA Greens Representative. Mr. Pat
O?Brien will visit in August at a cost of $1,100 per course. He will send his
report to the authority.
Mr. Hagler and Mr. Milam will speak with the Mayor to discuss the retirement

Bull Creek and Oxbow Creek revenues for 2007 compared to this time last year is
up. Expenses are lower for Bull Creek compared to last year. Revenue for the
month of March is higher as well. It is the product of warm weather. The
revenue and expenses from the snack bar at Bull Creek has made the big
difference in the year to date figures.
Richard Hagler adjourned the meeting at 4:20 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Nancy Wilkeson, Secretary
