II. FY2015 GRANT APPLICATION FOR CAPITAL AND PLANNING ASSISTANCE:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,
accept a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant for $1,592,219 and a
Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) grant for $303,996 for capital,
planning and operating, total of $1,896,215 or otherwise awarded. An agenda

III. 2010 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AMENDMENT- NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM- 3
(NSP3):
Authorization is requested for the filing of a substantial amendment to
the FY2010 Annual Action Plan for entitlement funding from the Neighborhood
Stabilization Program 3 (NSP3) from the Department of Housing and Urban

IV. DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS - HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM:
Authorization is requested to submit an application, in partnership
with NeighborWorks Columbus, to the Department of Community Affairs for grant
funding through the HOME Investment Partnership Program for $1,000,000 and, if
approved, accept funding for homeownership development and small rental housing

V. BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL SOCIETY GRANT - COMMUNITY CATS PROJECT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,
accept funds from Best Friends Animal Society, Pet Smart Charities, for the
purpose of implementing a Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) program for all feral
or free roaming cats in Muscogee County. An agenda report and resolution are

VI. COLUMBUS PARKS AND RECREATION - EMPTY BOWL EVENT:
Authorization is requested for the Department of Parks/Recreation to accept
donations in the form of gift certificates, checks, and cash from sponsors and
individuals for purchasing supplies before and during the Empty Bowl event as
well as for tickets to the event, auction pieces, bowls and monetary
donations. All funds (100%) will go to Feeding the Valley for the Kid?s Caf?

Scope of Bid
Provide and install a generator set at the Government Center. The system shall
include a Caterpillar or Olympian (or equivalent) electric generator set. If
desired, vendors may schedule an appointment to view the proposed site for the

2. Green Island Fire Road and Dam Repair Project ? RFB No. 14-0030
Scope of Bid
This work shall consist of Grading Complete, to include clearing and grubbing,
installing GAB and asphaltic concrete pavement, for a service road constructed
in the Green Island subdivision. All work shall be performed in accordance
with the designated plans and specifications. Disposal of all material that is
cleared or removed from the property shall be performed in accordance with
government regulations.

1. Naming Rights Partnership for the Arena, Ice Rink and Ticket Office of the
Columbus Civic Center (Annual Contract)
Scope of RFP
Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking corporations to be the naming
rights partner in three areas: Option A: Columbus Civic Center (Arena); Option
B: Columbus Ice Rink; Option C: Columbus Civic Center Ticket Office.
Corporations may submit proposals for any or all of the options.
Vendors have the option to schedule a Tour of the Columbus Civic Center
beginning January 2, 2014 ? February 14, 2014, Monday through Friday, between
the hours of 9:00 AM ? 3:00 PM. To make an appointment for the tour, contact

2. Pre-Fabricated Steel Building ? RFB-14-0021
Scope of RFB
The Columbus Consolidated Government wishes to purchase a pre-fabricated steel
building that will be used as a utility building. Building will be installed
on the prepared site at 3950 Schatulga Road, Columbus, GA 31907.

Scope of Bid
Provide sports/uniform active apparel including: tee shirts, sweat shirts, polo
shirts, hats, caps, jackets, etc to Public Works Department, Columbus Fire &
EMS Department, Parks & Recreation Department, METRA and other Departments, as
needed. The items will be purchased on an ?as needed? basis. The term of the
contract will be for two (2) years with option to renew for three (3)
additional twelve (12) month periods.
