MERITORIOUS RESOLUTIONS:



Have the staff to prepare a resolution expressing the Council?s

condolences to the family of Mr. Harold Funderburg. (Request of Councilor

Thomas)



Have the staff to prepare a resolution expressing the Council condolences

to Deputy Warden Covington in the loss of his father. (Request of Councilor

Huff)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:



VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PLAN:



Set aside Public Safety and tractors, but have the staff to look at those

vehicles that are being used less than normal, on the lower end of the

spectrum; and whether or not we need to provide a car for that position. Also,

let?s look at carpooling. (Request of Councilor Allen)



Have the staff to provide a copy of our policy that delineates which

positions get a car and who does not. Also, if we don?t have a policy in this

regard, we need to get one. (Request of Councilor Thomas)

Have the staff to provide a copy of the code violations that was cited on

this property. Also, have the staff to provide an update within 30-days on the

TO THE DIRECTOR OF CRIME PREVENTION:



CRIME PREVENTION ISSUES:



Have the staff to provide the minutes of the Crime Prevention Board with

respect to the discussion regarding the D.A.R.E., G.R.E.A.T. and the Junior

Marshal Programs. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Turner Pugh)



Have the Director of the Crime Prevention to get together with his board

and then come before the Council at the next Council Meeting on the Mayor?s

Agenda and have the proposals that addresses whether existing ongoing programs

can apply and be eligible for funds and will be given equal consideration and

not be handicapped in the point system. (Request of Mayor Tomlinson)
