TO THE CITY ATTORNEY:
RESOLUTION FOR ABBY SUTHERLAND:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution recognizing Abby
Sutherland. (Request of Councilor Allen)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
RECYCLING:
Have the staff to look at putting recycling bins at all city-owned
buildings, as well as all the City parks. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Turner Pugh)

AUDITOR:
Have the staff to ask the City Auditor to come to the Council sometime
soon and give us a list of the audits he is currently working on; and those
which have been completed where he said there needed to be additional work
done, and what is the time frame for having that done. (Request of Mayor Pro
Tem Turner Pugh)
Also, have the staff to let us know exactly what kind of audit it is that
the Auditor is working on; whether it is a financial audit or is it a full
detailed audit. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

COLUMBUS YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE:
Have the staff to empower our Parks & Recreation personnel to look at
creating some policy guidelines for those individuals who use the City?s ball
field to adhere to those guidelines. (Request of Councilors Henderson &
Anthony)

RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD:
Have the Mayor, City Attorney and City Manager, as well as the Auditor to
get together and come back to the Council at a later date and make some
recommendations as to how we can move forward; with respect to the Recreation
Advisory Board?s functions, and make some recommendations as to how we can
become more effective as to how we can serve the citizens with respect to Parks
& Recreation activities. (Request of Councilor Davis)

SITUATION WITH MR. GOOLSBY:
Have the staff to provide a chronology report to the Council dealing with
this situation with Mr. Goolsby?s problem. (Request of Councilor Davis)

HOMELAND SECURITY- DATA MINING:
Have the staff to check with the State to see if we can look at finding
some funding for the Homeland Security ? Data Mining software equipment system
that deals with real time crime prevention. (Request of Councilor Davis)

CHANGES MADE TO THE SALES & USE TAX:
Have the staff to provide information as to who introduced this
new legislation for the changes that were made to the Sales & Use Tax. (Request
of Councilor Davis)
