I. REQUEST FOR SPEED STUDY ON I-185:
Approval is requested for a traffic study by Georgia Department of
Transportation (GDOT) for I-185 from J.R. Allen/U.S. 80 south to Victory
Drive/U.S. 280 to determine if adjustments to the current speed limit of 65 mph
is appropriate for improved safety.

1. CS 2228/Ft. Benning Road from CS 325/Levy Road to Fort Benning ? RFB No.
08-0011
Scope of Bid
Construct the proposed road and landscape improvements along Ft. Benning Road
between Shelby Avenue and the entrance to Fort Benning in Columbus, GA. The
work primarily involves installation of sidewalk, street pavement, concrete
curb, and landscaping as depicted on the drawings provided as part of these
Contract Documents. The DBE goal for this project is 14%. The Georgia
Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, 2013 Edition, GDOT
Supplemental Specifications Book, 2016 Edition, and applicable Supplemental
Specifications and Special Provisions apply to this project. Bidders are
required to be pre-qualified or registered subcontractors with Georgia
Department of Transportation (GDOT); Bidders submitting bids in excess of
$2,000,000.00 must be prequalified with GDOT; Subcontractors shall be
pre-qualified or registered with GDOT.
2. Office Supplies (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 18-0009
Scope of RFB
Provide office supplies on an ?as needed? basis to various departments of the
Columbus Consolidated Government. The term of the contract shall be for two
(2) years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month
periods.
3. Tree Maintenance Services (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 18-0013
Scope of RFB
Provide supervision, labor, tools, equipment and services required for tree
maintenance services on an ?as needed? basis for Columbus Consolidated
Government Urban Forestry and Beautification Division. The term of the
contract shall be for two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3)
additional twelve-month periods.
4. Commercial Internal Freezer Unit and Cooler Unit for Muscogee County Prison

Scope of RFB
The Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is seeking vendors to provide a
commercial internal freezer unit and cooler unit for use in the Muscogee County
Prison.
5. Watershed Fertilization (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 18-0012
Scope of RFB
Provide erosion control at various watershed lakes. The contract term will be
for two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional
twelve-month periods.

Scope of RFB
Construct the proposed Martin Luther King Trail in Columbus, Georgia. The work
primarily involves installation of sidewalk, street pavement, concrete curb and
gutters, chain link fencing, and construction of a pedestrian and bike friendly
trail with landscaping.
2. Veterinary Services (Rebid) (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 18-0017
Scope of RFB
Provide veterinarian services for the Public Works Department, Animal Control
Center. The contract term will be for two years with the option to renew for
three additional twelve-month periods. THE REBID OF THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES
REVISED INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS.

Scope of RFP
The Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking to contract with a qualified
vendor to provide bulk mailing services for projects exceeding one-thousand
(1,000) pieces on an ?as needed? basis. The term of the contract shall be for
two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month
periods.
