I. FY2007 PAY PLAN ADMINISTRATIVE RULES:



Authorization is requested to adopt the administrative rules necessary for the

implementation of the University of Georgia Pay Plan adopted by Columbus

Ordinance No. 06-40. An agenda report and resolution are attached.





II. PROBATION SERVICES CONTRACT:



Authorization is requested to amend the contract with the with Georgia

Probation Services, Inc., to increase probation supervision fees from $30 to

$35 per month for regular probation supervision and from $50 to $55 for

intensive probation supervision for misdemeanor offenses for the Superior Court

and Municipal Court. An agenda report and resolution are attached





III. VOCA (VICTIMS OF CRIME ACT) ? CRIME ASSISTANCE GRANT:



Authorization is requested to submit and if approved accept a grant of $82,087

from the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and approve funding for

the program from the Five Percent Crime Victim Surcharge Fund. An agenda

report and resolution are attached.





IV. GRANTS - GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS:



Authorization is requested to accept responsibility of $100,000 in grants as

Pass-Through Agency from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for

Renaissance Personal Development Program - $20,000; Columbus Chamber of

Commerce Job Training Program $20,000; Liberty Theatre Cultural Arts Program -

$20,000; Building Toward Wellness Health Care Intervention - $10,000; House of

Mercy - $15,000 and BRIDGE G.E.D. Program - $15,000. An agenda report and

resolution are attached.





V. STREET ACCEPTANCE - TOM-BUCK-TU LANE:



Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Tom-Buck-Tu Lane located in

Section Three, Buckfield. The Department of Engineering has inspected this

street and recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution are

attached.



There will be a pre council meeting Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Council

Chambers Conference Room to discuss: Library SPLOST Update, Funding for

BRAC/Comp Plan, and Proposed Ordinance Changes/Administrative Rules for the UGA

Pay Plan (If time permits)
