A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF ROSS D. HORNER, CFE, AS CIVIC
CENTER DIRECTOR.
WHEREAS, the recruitment process for the civic center director position
involved a nationwide search; and,
WHEREAS, a selection committee process was used and Ross D. Horner is being
recommended as civic center director.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to appoint Mr. Ross D. Horner as
Civic Center Director, at a Pay Grade 25 and annual salary of $85,008.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held
the _________day of _____________, 2011 and adopted at said meeting by the
