A RESOLUTION
NO.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia and its various component units have previously
issued or may in the future issue tax exempt, or tax credit bonds (together Tax
Advantaged Bonds)and/or taxable bonds; and
WHEREAS, Tax Advantaged Bonds require compliance with various
post-issuance tax requirements provided by the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as
amended (the Code); and
WHEREAS, all taxable and Tax Advantaged Bond issues of Columbus and its
component units are subject to disclosure requirements provided in Rule 15c
2-12 of the Securities and Exchange Commission (the Rule); and
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate compliance with the above referenced
requirements of Federal Law, the Finance Director of Columbus has proposed a
policy entitled ?Post-Issuance Tax Compliance and Continuing Disclosure Policy
and Procedures? to be included in the Finance Department?s Policy and
Procedures Manual.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
The Post-Issuance Tax Compliance and Continuing Disclosure Policy and
Procedures attached hereto as Exhibit 1 is hereby approved by Council subject
to such updates as may be advised by Bond Council to comply with any future
amendments or interpretations to the Code or the Rule.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
23rd day of October, 2012, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
