An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 3127 and 3131 Macon Road from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District
to GC (General Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the Department
of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby amended by
changing the following described property from NC (Neighborhood Commercial)
District to GC (General Commercial) District:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 95 of the Coweta
Reserve, Muscogee County, Georgia, and being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at a right-of-way monument found at the mitered intersection of the
northwesterly right-of-way of Macon Road (variable R/W) and the northeasterly
right-of-way Mercury Drive (60' right-of-way); thence along said miter North 83
degrees 32 minutes 09 seconds West, 29.76 feet to a 5/8" rebar set; thence
along said northeasterly right-of-way North 38 degrees 12 minutes 11 seconds
West, 117.00 feet to a 1" crimp top pipe found; thence North 51 degrees 45
minutes 03 seconds East, 164.05 feet to a 1" crimp top pipe found; thence South
38 degrees 08 minutes 47 seconds East, 138.06 feet to a point on said
northeasterly right-?of-way of Macon Road; thence along said northeasterly
right-of-way South 51 degrees 48 minutes 00 seconds West, 142.75 feet to a
right-of-way monument found, said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
