Board Meeting Minutes
November 3, 2010
10:00 a.m.
A meeting of the Land Bank Authority Board was held on November 3, 2010, in the
Ground Floor Conference Room of the Columbus Consolidated Government Center.

Board Chair Justin Krieg called the meeting to order. A Quorum was present.
Minutes of the September 8, 2010 meeting were approved as presented.
Board Chair Justin Krieg introduced Allison Souther from the Macon-Bibb County
Land Bank Authority, Inc. She gave a presentation on creating and using a Land
Bank Authority in neighborhood revitalization and addressed problems that will
be encountered in that endeavor and possible solutions to those problems.
A copy of the CD with the presentation will be given to each Board Member as
well as a hard copy of the presentation, which includes several forms,
procedures and guidelines for operating the Land Bank Authority. Copies of
maps showing the redevelopment areas in the City will be given to each Board
Member.
Old/New Business:
On Thursday, November 4th, Board Chair Justin Krieg and Mark McCollum will be
traveling to Emory in Atlanta to attend a meeting with other Land Bank
Authority groups located in the state of Georgia. Attorney Frank Alexander
will be a speaker at the event. Mr. Alexander is one of the foremost
authorities on Land Bank?s.
The next Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, in the
Ground Floor Conference Room at the Government Center at 10:00 a.m. A meeting
notice will be sent via email to all Board Members.
