NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO OPERATE A DAY CARE CENTER (TYPE
III) LOCATED AT 8350 VETERANS PARKWAY.
WHEREAS, Genia Webb (Learning Spot for Tots) has appropriately applied for a
Special Exception Use to operate a Day Care Center (Type III) on the subject
property; and,
WHEREAS, A Day Care Center (Type III) is permitted solely as a Special
Exception Use under the current SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) zoning
district; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has reviewed the request and recommends
Approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria of Section 10.2.7.B of the Unified Development Ordinance
has been properly met and a Special Exception Use to allow the operation of a
Day Care Center (Type III) are granted for the properties located at 8350
Veterans Parkway (Parcel # 079-006-008).
