TO THE CITY ATTORNEY:
MERITORIOUS RESOLUTIONS:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution expressing the Council?s condolences
to the family of Mrs. Annie Clark, who recently passed away. (Request of
Councilor Barnes)
Have the staff to prepare a resolution expressing the Council?s
condolences to the family of Mr. Fred Ghent, who recently passed away.

TAXICAB ORDINANCE/WORK SESSION:
Have the staff prepare an amendment to the ordinance to add the $2.00 fuel
surcharge. (Request of Councilor Allen)
Have the staff to find out what the regulations are that governs taxicab
drivers as far as Fort Benning is concern. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Turner
Pugh)
Let?s make sure that we include Fort Benning?s MWR office in the
discussions when the Work Session is held. (Request of Councilor Henderson)
Whenever the Work Session is held, let?s make sure that we include in the
discussions the Airport Authority, the Columbus Convention & Visitors Bureau
and any other agencies that we need to include. (Request of Councilor Davis.

TRAFFIC CONCERNS:
Have the staff to provide a written response to those comments, concerns
and suggestions expressed by Mr. Jim Pound who appeared on the Council?s agenda
regarding what he referred to as congestion problems in Columbus. (Request of
Councilor Henderson)

RETIREES? HEALTH BENEFITS COMMITTEE:
Have the staff to advise whether or not the seat that Mrs. Annie Clark
held on the Retirees? Health Benefits Committee is for a designated seat.
