An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 1346 Webster Avenue from GC (General Commercial) District to LMI

(Light Manufacturing / Industrial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the Department of

Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby amended by

changing the following described property from GC (General Commercial) District

to LMI (Light Manufacturing / Industrial):



BEGINNING at an iron stake marking the intersection of the western right-of-way

line of Webster Avenue, said right of way being 50 feet, with the northern

right of way line of 14th Street, said right of way being 45 feet; from said

POINT OF BEGINNING thus established, N 89 degrees 29 minutes 37 seconds E along

the northern right of way of 14th Street for a distance of 155.23 feet to a

drill hole; thence running S 00 degrees 08 minutes 44 seconds W a distance of

149.71 feet to a drill hole; thence running S 01 degree 12 minutes 03 seconds E

a distance of 61.28 feet to a nail and cap; thence running S 00 degrees 23

minutes 56 seconds E a distance of 33.0 feet to a nail and cap; thence running

S 89 degrees 26 minutes 48 seconds E a distance of 17.81 feet to a nail and

cap; thence running S 00 degrees 14 minutes 27 seconds E a distance of 59.70

feet to an iron stake; thence running S 89 degrees 44 minutes 24 seconds W a

distance of 173.31 feet to an iron stake located on the western right-of-way

line of Webster Avenue; thence running N 00 degrees 12 minutes 38 seconds W

along the western right-of-way line of Webster Avenue a distance of 303.25 feet

to an iron stake that marks the POINT OF BEGINNING.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



All buffer requirements shall be waived for this property.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia

held on the 10th day of April, 2007; introduced a second time at a regular

meeting of said Council held on the ____ day of __ , 2007 and

adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said

Council.
