An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 925 Morris Road from LMI (Light Manufacturing Industrial) District

to RMF1 (Residential Multi Family 1) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is

hereby amended by changing the following described property from LMI (Light

Manufacturing Industrial) zoning district to RMF1 (Residential Multi Family 1)

zoning district:



All that Tract or Parcel of land lying in land lot 111, Coweta Reserve,

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, being more particularly described as

follows:



Beginning at an iron pin at the intersection of the Southwesterly right-of-way

line of Telfair Drive with the Southeast right-of-way line of Enoch Drive and

thence run South 54 degrees 43 minutes 50 seconds East a distance of 115.00

feet to an iron pin on the Westerly right-of-way line of Norfolk Southern

(Central of Georgia) Railroad; thence run along the Westerly right-of-way line

of Norfolk Southern (Central of Georgia) Railroad South 35 degrees 20 minutes

54 seconds West a distance of 420.00 feet to an iron pin; thence run North 54

degrees 39 minutes 47 seconds West a distance 410.08 feet to an iron pin;

thence run North 35 degrees 20 minutes 36 seconds East a distance of 420.07

feet to an iron pin on the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Telfair Drive;

thence run along the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Telfair Drive South 54

degrees 37 minutes 23 seconds East a distance of 295.12 feet to an iron pin at

the point of beginning. Containing 3.954 acres and recorded in plat book 162,

page 146, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



The property shall only be developed for single family residential.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the

9th day of March, 2010; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said

Council held on the day of , 2010 and adopted at said meeting by

the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
