Subject: National Civil War Naval Museum
Dear Mayor Tomlinson.
I am writing you to let you know what a treasure I've discovered in the
National Civil War Naval Museum. It is fantastic! I can't believe I've lived in
Alabama this long and never came to visit it.Since my first visit Ive been back
three times.I hope you realize what a great tourist draw this could be with
just a little more awareness out there that it is close by in Columbus.On each
visit Iv'e shopped stores in Columbus, purchased meals and gas, and discovered
many other things your city has to offer. In short the economic impact of this
museum can be fantastic! Please reconsider cuts to its budget and promote , not
hide this wonderful asset.
