A RESOLUTION
No.
WHEREAS, claimant Insun Gordon filed a complaint with the Columbus Police
Department on or about December 16, 2010 concerning improper disposition of
personal property;
WHEREAS, the Police Department conducted a thorough investigation of
this matter and determined that the personal property of claimant was
improperly disposed of and a police officer was disciplined with respect to
this matter;
WHEREAS, the Mayor, Police Chief and City Attorney recommend a payment
of $4,000 to Mr. Insun Gordon as a full and final settlement of this claim.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby authorize the Mayor and Finance Director to requisition a
check in the amount of $4,000 as full and final settlement of the claim of Mr.
Insun Gordon, subject to execution of written release by Mr. Gordon.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
26th day of July, 2011, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
