An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 7175 Beaver Run Road from LMI (Light Manufacturing / Industrial)
District to GC (General Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from LMI (Light
Manufacturing/ Industrial) District to GC (General Commercial) District:
All that tract or parcel of land lying in and being part of Land Lot 68,
9thDistrict, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia being more particularly
described as follows: Commence at a concrete monument marking the intersection
of the northeasterly line of Beaver Run Road and the easterly line of
Manchester Expressway; thence South 55 degrees 22 minutes 34 seconds East,
along the northeasterly line of Beaver Run Road, 875.22 feet to a concrete
monument and the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving said street line, North 88
degrees 15 minutes 57 seconds East, 494.25 feet to an iron stake; thence South
07 degrees 13 minutes 46 seconds West, 205.29 feet to a concrete monument on
the northeasterly line of Beaver Run Road; thence northwesterly along the
northeasterly line of Beaver Run Road, along the arc of a clockwise curve (said
arc having a radius of 1834.86 feet and being subtended by a 326.85 foot chord
bearing North 75 degrees 08 minutes 51 seconds West), 327.28 feet to a concrete
monument; thence along said street line, North 55 degrees 25 minutes 56 seconds
West, 184.91 feet to a concrete monument and the point of beginning.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held
on the 9th day of December, 2008; introduced a second time at a regular meeting
of said Council held on the day of _______, 2008 and adopted at said
meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
