I. NEIGHBORWORKS COLUMBUS COTTAGE PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested for an Addendum to the Memorandum of

Understanding (MOU) with Neighborworks Columbus to allocate $40,000 in UDAG

funds for the sixth Cottage Program recipient. An agenda report, addendum to

II. FY14 PUBLIC DEFENDER CONTRACT:



Authorization is requested to enter into an agreement for Indigent

Defense Services with the Circuit Public Defender's Office of the Chattahoochee

Judicial Circuit in the amount of $1,358,254 from July 2013 to June 2014 and

authorize payment to the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council (GPDSC) in

monthly installments of $853,077 plus the administrative fee of $42,654, which

is included in the total amount. An agenda report, resolution and contract are

III. COOPER CREEK TENNIS CENTER EXPANSION MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) --

CORTA AND COLUMBUS STATE UNIVERSITY:



Authorization is requested to enter into a memorandum of understanding

with Columbus Regional Tennis Association (CORTA) and Columbus State University

to complete expansion of Cooper Creek Tennis Center. This project is on the

capital projects list in the 2008 Local Option Sales Tax (LOST)

presentation. The City's commitment will be funded from the LOST for $1.5

million toward the expansion to add 12 hard courts and 10 clay courts. The

estimated cost of project is $5,374,637. A clubhouse will be located on the

site that will be built and owned by CORTA. An agenda report, resolution,

Scope of Bid

The work consists of replacing bridges at Cooper Creek and Bull Creek located

on Forrest Road. In addition, the work includes some roadway improvements to

include all drainage structures, concrete curb and gutters, and asphalt

paving. The work also includes pavement markings; traffic signs and

signalization; and sidewalks.

1. Redevelopment Plan for Claflin School ? RFP No. 14-0002

Scope of RFP

The City of Columbus is requesting proposals from experienced, creative

architects, building and real estate development firms OR a philanthropic

individual or nonprofit group to present a redevelopment plan for adaptive

reuse of the Claflin School building that will be consistent with applicable

deed restrictions and preserve the historic site.

1. Weracoba Creek Retaining Wall Replacement ? RFB No. 14-0009

Scope of Bid

The work consists of removing and replacing a section of an existing retaining

wall located within Weracoba Creek and adjacent to Cherokee Avenue. The work

also includes pavement markings, installation of guard rails, and concrete

hardscapes work.

1. Schatulga Road / Corporate Ridge Parkway Roundabout ? RFB No. 14-0010

Scope of Bid

Construct a roundabout at the intersection of Schatulga Road and Corporate

Ridge Parkway. The work includes all drainage structures; concrete curb and

gutters; asphaltic concrete paving; and splitter islands. The work also

includes pavement markings, traffic signs, and landscaping.



2. 35 ft Low Floor Transit Bus (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 14-0003

Scope of Bid

Seeking vendors to provide 35? Low Floor Transit Bus to METRA on an ?as needed

basis?. The City anticipates purchasing approximately 0-5 buses during Fiscal

Year 2014 through Fiscal Year 2019.



3. Hybrid Low Floor Electric Bus (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 14-0004

Scope of Bid

Seeking vendors to provide Hybrid Low Floor Electric Bus to METRA on an ?as

needed basis?. The City anticipates purchasing approximately 0-5 buses during

Fiscal Year 2014 through Fiscal Year 2019.
