A Resolution
Whereas, Mrs. Rose Brown Sullivan, Tax Clerk in the Tax Commissioner?s Office,
retired from the service of the Consolidated Government on December 30, 2016;
Whereas, Mrs. Sullivan has given seven and one-half years in service to the
citizens of Columbus and officials of this government;
Whereas, she has worked to make the Tax Commissioner?s Office run in a smooth
and efficient manner;
Whereas, she was a great team member, always willing to help her fellow
employees;
Whereas, she displayed patience and generosity with both her team members and
the citizens of Columbus, GA;
Whereas, she spearheaded the office fundraising campaign for Breast Cancer
awareness;
Whereas, she oversaw several office events that improved employee morale and
comradery;
Whereas, the service of Mrs. Rose Brown Sullivan is worthy of special
recognition by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby commend and congratulate Mrs. Rose Brown Sullivan upon her retirement
from the Tax Commissioner?s office on December 30, 2016. Columbus deeply
appreciates her dedicated service to her team, our citizens, and all officials
of the Consolidated Government and we wish her every happiness in her
retirement. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Rose Brown
Sullivan.
