A RESOLUTION
No.
WHEREAS, Katherine White of Brookstone High School was recently named Columbus
Ledger-Enquirer Female Athlete of the Year;
WHEREAS, Katherine was unbeaten at No. 1 singles for the Class A State Champion
Lady Cougars in 2009;
WHEREAS, she will be a junior at Brookstone next year and has been dominant in
the past two seasons for the Lady Cougars;
WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Brookstone High School Lady Cougar Katherine
White are worthy of special recognition by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby commend and congratulate Katherine White of Brookstone High School
upon being named Columbus Ledger-Enquirer Female Athlete of the Year for 2009.
Columbus is proud of her accomplishments and we wish her every success in the
future. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Katherine White.
