An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 6001 Crystal Drive from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District
to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the
same is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property of the following
described property from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District to GC
(General Commercial) Zoning District:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 39, 9th District,
City of Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point formed by the intersection of the southern Right-of-Way of
Macon Road (US Hwy. 80) and the eastern Right-of-Way of Crystal Drive, said
point being the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence along the southern Right-of-Way of
Macon Road (US Hwy. 80) the following calls: North 39?45'26" East, a distance
of 74.55 feet to a point; thence North 34?23'54" East, a distance of 99.04 feet
to a point; thence North 40?02'05" East, a distance of 15.13 feet to a point;
thence leaving said Right-of-Way of Macon Road (US Hwy. 80) and running South
21?10'00" East, a distance of 371.85 feet to a point; thence South 42?17'11"
West, a distance of 93.41 feet to a point; thence South 88?28'56" West, a
distance of 66.50 feet to a point; thence South 88?25'34" West, a distance of
82.76 feet to a point on the eastern Right-of-Way of Crystal Drive; thence
continuing along said Right-of-Way of Crystal Drive North Or30'12" West, a
distance of 271.42 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
The above-described property is being rezoned subject to the following
condition:
1. Billboards shall not be allowed on this property.

held on the 12th day of February, 2013; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the day of __________, 2013 and
adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said
Council.
