An ordinance increasing the METRA Transit System base fare to $1.30,
effective October 1, 2009, in accordance with 49 U.S.C Chapter 53, 49 C.F.R
Part 609 and FTA Circular 9030.1C; and for other purposes.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
In accordance with all appropriate federal regulations and statutory
requirements, the METRA Transit System base fare of $1.25 shall be increased to
$1.30 effective October 1, 2009.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
