WHEREAS, Mr. Warren A. Sewer, former employee with the Columbus Water Works,

died on August 4, 2009;

WHEREAS, Mr. Sewer retired on April 1, 2009 after serving 19 years with the

Columbus Water Works.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Warren A. Sewer our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Sewer was an outstanding employee with the Columbus

Water Works and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. William Edmond, Jr., former employee with the Public Services

Department, died on August 22, 2009;

WHEREAS, Mr. Edmond retired on January 1, 2001 after serving over 27 years with

the Public Services Department.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. William Edmond, Jr. our sincere

condolences and deepest sympathy. Mr. Edmond was an outstanding employee with

the Public Services Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

died on September 5, 2009;

WHEREAS, Ms. Hardnett retired on September 1, 2007 after serving 18 years with

METRA Transportation.

We hereby convey to the family of Ms. Lizzie L. Hardnett our sincere

with the Muscogee Manor Rehabilitation Center.

We hereby convey to the family of Mrs. Valerie Mahone our sincere condolences
