Comprehensive Review of Parking

Overview

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

As you all are aware, we have struggled with many parking issues in the Uptown

area in recent years. Our challenges include too much available parking in

decks, too much demand, and not enough supply for on-street parking. Business

owners, patrons and historic district residents have all voiced their

concerns. In the next several weeks, city staff will develop a proposal to

remedy these issues for your review and feedback. Staff will be sure to

involve stakeholders impacted by parking in the Uptown area. In the meantime,

below is an update of the issues for your review.
