A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO ERECT A WIRELESS
COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
2395 WHITTLESEY ROAD.
WHEREAS, Municipal Communications, LLC has applied for a Special Exception Use
to erect a 85-feet wireless communications facility for wireless communications
service on the property described above; and,
WHEREAS, new wireless communication facilities are permitted solely as a
Special Exception Use under the current LMI (Light Manufacturing / Industrial)
zoning district; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Commission has reviewed the request and
recommends approval and the Planning Department recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria listed under Section 3.2.72 of the Unified Development
Ordinance has been properly met and a Special Exception Use to erect an 85-feet
monopole for wireless communication facility is approved for the property
located at 2395 Whittlesey Road.

8TH day of December, 2015, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
